Wednesday 8th

Julia and Kevin got the 8:30 ferry from Salcombe and I had a long drive to get round the river at Kingsbridge, then lots of very narrow steep country lanes to get to the headland at Start Point where I am now sat, watching the swallows, crows and sparrow Hawks gliding overhead. A beautiful day and I can see for miles across the bay. The sea is calm, breeze pleasant, horizon hazy.
